I prefer reading a series in order but you can often do as you please. I would really recommend that you read Winter Fire first as the two books are closely linked although they are complete in and of themselves. Georgian romance with sex. It's great when the hot guys are also the nice guys, who occasionally don't even know they're nice. The women in both these series are strong. Some are beautiful, some are not. All are clever and righteous. No spoilers here, but Fitz and Damaris are fun, but he's got troubles and is not free to be the man he wants her to have.

Beverley's character have it all, or very nearly, on the surface. She gets underneath the gloss and shows us their hearts desires. She then puts them through their paces until they open themselves up to achieve the happiness they truly want and need. Fitz and Damaris' story is well worth the read.
