This book and accompanying cd and dvd resonated with me and presented a program I can stick to, after years of trying to create a daily program. The instruction is fine for me as a seasoned yoga practi I am not looking for weight loss but still gleaned much about creating a regular yoga asana postures and nidra akin to progressive muscle relaxation program. The instruction is fine for me as a seasoned yoga practitioner but might be frustrating for folks newer to yoga and looking for more detail.

The author is one of my teachers. He presents a very practical and well defined defined approach to establishing healthy lifestyle changes via the philosophy and practice of Yoga. The best plan for a beginner new to yoga however would be the use of this book along with the guidance of a mentor, yoga therapist, experienced practitioner, or group. I'm reading each chapter as a part of my morning practice to make the book last.
