The Chair I Unspeakable TV Movie Edit Cast Cast overview, first billed only: Alice Fhelleps Leigh Silver I found myself really hating the bad guys and cheering when they got what they deserved. The ending was interesting and tied up all the questions you had through out the story. I recommend this book highly.
It shoud definitely keep you entertained. There was really not much at all in this story that was predictable. Actually, quite a few unpredictable things happen throughout. I am a fan of SB, but this one was mediocre I found myself wandering and missing part of the story, only to not miss much. The story contains several subplots that intertwine with the main plot.
The deaf woman is interesting, but her son is sickening.
Jack, who appers out of nowhere and has a mysterious background, is the superhero who saves the day. This story has several murders including some shocking ones that are unexpected. Seems like it is the same storyline just in a different part of the country and with accents. I am not sure if it was the narration or the story forumula of which I am tiring.
There is always a prominent female character, a child or one on the way , and male characters.

Some are extremely evil and while there is at least one with a dubious background. There is always someone on the run Fast moving and typical of this author who knows how to keep your attention and not let the cat out of the bag. I can not even make it through, the narrator is that bad. I liked this one good story with unexpected ending. Hard to figure what would happen throughout the story so that is good, keeps you wondering. This is the third SB book I've tried and was far far superior to the other two.

I loved this book!! All of the characters were believable and flawed. It was suspenseful and thrilling. I hated the "bad guys" so much by the end, I couldn't wait for them to get theirs!!! I went back and listened to the end again.
I highly recommend this book but credit user beware Some of the violence is gut churning. The details are kept from us,as far as, a moment by moment of her torture, but enough to know the true evil of the escaped convicts. Anyway- I will definitely listen to this book again!!! The information contained about the deaf is fairly accurate. There could have been a few more things added about etiquette dealing with the deaf community that would have been beneficial. The plot held together generally and the book was a nice break.
The only weak spot to was the child, but he had a small part. Have listened to this audio book twice now, and have enjoyed the story both times.

Despite the high degree of independence the Department of Mysteries receives, when Voldemort conquered the entire Ministry , the Unspeakables came to produce falsified research results regarding how Muggle-borns are usurping magic from real wizards , being corrupted or threatened by the Death Eaters.
