What one dream means in my life could be completely opposite to what it means to someone else. And, yeah, that sounds about right. This book has very interesting stories, and suggestions for helping people learn to decode their own dreams. Not only can you write your dream out, but you can use it to think through the dream and discover its meaning.

This is addressed in this book as well as those of us who remember our dreams but have trouble figuring them out. At the end of each chapter is something called, "Takeaways", which give you just a couple action things to do or think on as you go along. I really liked that the author wrote about inventions that have been bir Dreams, such a large part of our time is spent sleeping and yes, dreaming. I really liked that the author wrote about inventions that have been birthed from dreams; direct answers to problems.
This is something that benefited many when they weren't ignored. Different examples of a dream are given and along with it: Questions like who is in the dream with you? Symbols in Dreams is often talked about by other authors, but not everyone talks about Warning Dreams and Direction Dreams and how to handle those.
I have often seen a list from other trusted ministries that say what each thing means. Sometimes it was exactly that and sometimes they weren't helpful because I just knew it "jibe" with me. I liked that Cindy brought forth the information that we have our own dream language and we have to let that develop too!!!
I'd say this is a great study if you are serious about dreams meaning something important to you.

The author points out that not all dreams mean something and to be cautious of being too quick to assign a certain meaning. I'm also glad she pointed out that not all dreams are from God. They can also be from what she calls Self and Lie and it's important to figure out which source it's from. While she talks about God and her faith, the book felt like it was written for anyone, Christian or not. It also gave me valuable insight into the interpretation process, which lead me to new and exciting interpretations of past dreams.

The book is to teach us how to interpret the dreams we have, and to teach us to find solutions in the dreams we have. This was a very interesting and informative book. I did write down my last dreams, and they did have a sense. It permits me to pay attention to them and give a message.
