Lowering blood pressure is a obviously a very good thing, but requires giving the body time to adjust. This is why she recommends not overdoing it at the beginning. I've increased my fluid consumption and backed off a bit on the cayenne and cederwood oil and now I feel the benefits without the discomfort.
