The students were part of a study to compare students who used slide rules with those who had their own analog computer. The computer was designed by Dr. James Reswick, who was then Head of the Case Engineering Design Center, James Pastoriza who manufactured them and for whom they were named and George Philbrick who was already well known as one of the founders of the analog computer systems.
They consisted of several modular units that could be configured however the student wanted. The control unit was marked on the back as serial Several of the smaller units had the same number on the back and were part of that original set.
Pastoriza Research, who manufactured this computer, was bought out by Analog Devices, Inc. The quoted website, which is run by West Chester University in Pennsylvania, also pictures the unit, and as to its rarity notes that they are aware of the existence of only their own unit, referring to it as "one of a kind. Although apparently used only at Case, our unit has an old label from another technical institute, whether it was sold to that institute by Pastoriza or obtained later is unclear. Trudeau, letter responding to an invitation from a July 26, letter carbon copy of this letter included to participate in a new concept called "Exchange for Political Ideas in Canada". A very good copy, the cloth clean, the binding lightly rubbed and softened at the spine tips. The contents are a little spotted to the prelims and text block edge. Complete with the near fine lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper. Inscribed in blue ink by the author on the front free endpaper? Whilst we have been unable to identify the real Professor Hanbury to whom Christie presents this copy, we would like to believe that the recipient might in some way be the inspiration for either of the fictional Hanburys agent Hanbury and Sheila Hanbury in the novel.

An pen inscription on cover of "44 51". Back cover corners are slightly dogged eared. Offered here is a fabulous watercolor circa used for a Spanish language book about Top Cat. Although there is no indication that this is from a Spanish book, it was purchased with other art from a Spanish edition.
Top Cat is a cartoon inspired by the Phil Silvers Show and like the Flintstones, premiered as a prime time cartoon. It features a group of Manhattan alley cats. The colors in this artwork are vibrant and the image makes you smile. This is a great image of all of the cats in Hoagy's Alley with Top Cat trying to catch a dog. An excellent near fine bright copy with no inscriptions or stamps and no loose, marked or torn pages. Covers very faintly darkened to the bottom edge. The glassine is darkened and edge-worn with a tear and some associated loss to the front flap but complete. Produced cheaply and accessibly, Ruscha?
